정보센터는 지식 집약적이며 조직의 업무프로세스와 조직구성원이 생성하는 지식자원을 공유 및 교류시키기 위한 조직으로 지식관리와 관련하여 매우 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 본 연구는 조직의 역량개발을 위해 중요한 의미를 갖는 정보센터의 지식관리 수준과 관련된 요인들을 살펴봄으로서 조직의 정보공유 및 지식교류 향상을 위해 고려되어야 할 사항에 대해 논의하였다. 조직문화, 지식의 중요성, 그리고 정보기술 지원정도가 지식관리에 영향을 미치는 잠재요인으로 파악되어 43명의 데이터베이스 전문 인력의 설문내용을 기초로 가설을 검증하였다. 연구결과 정보기술에 대한 지원정도가 크면 클수록 정보센터의 지식관리 수준이 향상되는 것으로 파악되었다.
Abstract
Information center represents an important source which seems very well suited for knowledge management investigation. Information center is knowledge intensive and the use of advanced technology may transform the knowledge of business processes for delivering an unique capabilities in an organization. To exam knowledge management, organization culture, importance of knowledge, and support of information technology were identified as potential predictors of knowledge management support in information center. Three hypotheses have been tested with 43 database management specialist surveys. This study presents that the level of information sharing and knowledge exchange is significantly influenced by the extent support of information technology.
초록
본 연구에서는 지식관리 및 지식관리구성요소의 개념적 정의에 대해 살펴보고 지식관리를 효율적으로 수행하기 위한 요인을 신뢰, 의사소통의 개방성, 의사결정의 참여정도, 혁신성, 공유된 가치, 최고경영자의 지원으로 구분해서 조사. 분석하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 조직구성원들의 원활한 지식관리역할을 수행하기 위한 기초 자료로써 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study examines the concept of knowledge and knowledge management. Then, it analyzes some factors for successful knowledge management in terms of trust, communication channels, decision making participation, innovativeness, shared value, and CKO support. The suggestions of the study can be used to establish knowledge management in organizations.

본 연구는 국내 해양전문정보센터에서 효율적인 정보서비스를 위해 필요한 멀티미디어 메타데이터베이스와 디지털도서관 통합정보시스템을 구현할 목적으로 선행연구를 조사하고 분석하였다. 연구대상자원은 해양분야의 인쇄매체, 네트워크자원, 원문화일, 동영상 등을 범위로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 인쇄매체를 포함한 각종 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 자원의 기술과 조직을 위해 LC표준으로 사용하고 있는 MODS를 기반으로 하여 통합정보검색서비스를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 해양분야 각종 정보자원 조사, 멀티미디어 정보처리, MODS 등 메타데이터 기술요소 분석, 메타데이터 분류체계, 시스템 구성 및 검색 구현방안의 연구를 수행하였다.
Abstract
A literature analysis for the planning and realization of the multimedia meta database and digital library's integrated information system was carried out to establish the various oceanographic resources in the Oceanographic Information Center, the first in Korea. The study targeted from printed matter, network resources, full-text and to VOD. The focus of the analysis lies in the providing practical integrated information retrieval service for oceanographic resources based on the framework of effective MODS metadata with network resources description. The analyses included oceanographic resources, multimedia information processing, MODS metadata descriptive elements, metadata classification, system organization, and retrieval for planning and implementation of the multimedia meta database system.

미래 도서관의 패러다임이 정보소장에서 정보접근으로 변화됨에 따라 도서관상호협력과 문헌제공서비스의 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 이를 위하여 개별 도서관들은 자료의 구입예산을 절감하고 도서관정보서비스의 질적인 향상을 물론 이용자의 정보서비스에 대한 만족도를 제고한다는 점에서 문헌제공서비스의 활용은 상당한 장점이 있다. 본 연구는 문헌제공서비스의 효과적인 수행과 이용을 위한 국내 이용자들의 문헌제공서비스 트랜잭션 데이터 분석을 통하여 문헌제공서비스의 이용추이와 동향을 예측하고, 여기에 나타난 그들의 요구변화를 검토하여 국내 도서관 및 정보센터의 문헌제공서비스의 질적인 향상과 이용자 만족도 제고에 사용할 수 있는 근거 자료를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 KISTI-DDS의 실제 이용데이터를 활용하여 문헌제공서비스의 연도별, 지역별, 이용계층별 차이를 분석하였으며, 자료유형별 복사추이도 관찰하였다. 또한 이용자들이 원문복사를 제공하는 복사제공기관과 원문입수방법을 검토하고 연도별, 이용계층별로 의미있는 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the usage patterns of document delivery services of domestic users based on usage transaction data about photocopying services of KISTI-DDS that the most important document delivery organization in Korea. For the purpose of this study, it was investigated the number of processed document, type of favorite documents, ordering coverage for photocopying, delivery methods of photocopying documents for users in DDS(document delivery service) through transaction data of DDS during the past 4 years from 2000 to 2003.
