초록
본 연구는 지식검색서비스의 특성과 성능 분석을 근거로 이용자의 정보요구와 이용행태 등 지식검색서비스 이용과 관련된 제반사항을 조사분석함으로써 이용자들의 요구를 보다 충족시킬 수 있는 지식검색서비스 방안을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이론적 연구와 실증적 이용연구에서 분석된 결과를 기초로 한 개선방안은 지식의 효과성과 검색서비스의 효율성을 강화시키는 요소를 중심으로 제시되었다. 지식 자체의 효과를 높이기 위해 답변의 전문성, 정확성, 주제의 특성 및 다양성을 향상시켜야 하고, 검색서비스의 효율성을 높이기 위해 쌍방향성, 즉시성, 편리성의 측면을 강화시켜야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to review the characteristics of a web-based question-answer service and to analyze the information needs and use behavior of the service for a more efficient question-answer service plan. On the basis of the findings, this study makes suggestions for the question-answer service in respect of reinforcing the effectiveness of information itself and the efficiency of question-answer services. The speciality, accuracy, and specificity including the variety of themes should be improved for more effective information. Also, interactivity, readiness, and convenience should be improved for a more efficient service.

본 연구의 목적은 기자직의 웹 행동 분석을 통해 웹 정보탐색행위 패턴의 특성을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 기자직 23명을 대상으로 트랜잭션로그를 수집하여 분석하였다. 데이터 수집을 위하여 분석 대상의 컴퓨터에 웹 트래킹 소프트웨어를 설치하였으며, 2주 동안 총 39,860개의 웹 로그가 수집되었다. 세션의 시작과 종료 패턴, 단계별 이행 패턴, 순차규칙 모형이 분석되었으며, 기자직과 일반인의 웹 이용 패턴을 비교하였다. 이를 토대로 기자직의 웹 정보탐색행위 패턴을 사실확인형 탐색, 사실확인형 검색, 조사형 탐색, 조사형 검색 등 4가지 형태로 유형화하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify th patterns in the news reporters’ information seeking behaviors by observing their web activities. For this purpose, transaction logs collected from 23 news reporters were analyzed. Web tracking software was installed to collect the data from their PCs, and a total of 39,860 web logs were collected in two weeks. Start and end pattern of sessions, transitional pattern by step, sequence rule model was analyzed and the pattern of Internet use was compared with the general public. the analysis of pattern derived a web information seeking behavior modes that consists of four types of behaviors: fact-checking browsing, fact-checking search, investigative browsing and investigative search.
