본 연구는 대학의 교수와 학생 이용자가 전통적인 형태의 물리적 도서관과 온라인 정보이용 중심의 디지털 도서관이 혼합된 하이브리드 형태의 도서관 환경에서 대학도서관을 이용하고자 하는 행동 의도 즉, 도서관 이용 의도를 결정하는 요인들과 그 요인들 사이의 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 대학의 주요 구성원 그룹이 가지고 있는 대학도서관에 대한 전반적인 인식을 조사하기 위하여 구조화된 설문지를 개발하여 자료를 수집하였고, 도서관 이용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들 간의 관계 분석을 위해 사회심리학에서 빈번히 활용되는 행동-태도 이론을 바탕으로 본 연구의 목적에 적합하다고 판단되는 계획행동이론(TPB)과 기술수용모형(TAM)을 기반으로 한 통합모형을 제안하여 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 이용환경 변화에 따른 이용자의 도서관 이용에 대한 인식과 이용 의도를 물리적 도서관과 디지털도서관으로 나누어 각각 확인하였고, 이를 바탕으로 향후 도서관의 미래 전략 및 운영 방안에 대해 논의해 보고자 하였다는데 그 의의가 있다고 할 수 있으며, 본 연구의 결과는 대학도서관으로 하여금 변화하는 환경에서 생존하고 균형적인 성장을 이루기 위해서는 인지, 주목, 그리고 협력을 바탕으로 한 효과적이며 효율적인 운영전략을 수립하여야 한다는 점을 주지하고 있다.
Abstract
This study investigates the factors affecting behavioral intention of professors and students at universities to use academic libraries in a hybrid library environment where a traditional physical library is combined with a digital library that is centered on online information use. The structural relationships among factors were also analyzed in this study by utilizing a combined behavioural model which was based on TPB and TAM. This study identified users’ intention to use academic libraries according to changes in the use environment, and the findings of this study bring a valuable meaning to library administrators for setting up the strategic plan for the future of academic libraries. The results of this study imply that academic libraries should strategically setup an effective and efficient operating plan based on awareness, attention and cooperation, in order to survive as well as to accomplish balanced growth in rapidly changing environment.
초록
본 연구의 목적은 디지털 인문학 분야의 국내외 주요 연구의 동향을 살펴보고 비교 분석하는 데 있다. 기존의 디지털 인문학 동향에 관한 연구들은 해외의 주요 연구사례와 국가정책, 발전 방향 등을 검토하는 연구들로, 디지틸 인문학 분야의 세부 연구주제 및 하위 분야를 파악하는 것과는 거리가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 학술 문헌의 계량서지적 분석을 통해 디지털 인문학 분야의 지적 구조를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 Web of Science와 RISS로부터 2020년 3월까지 출판된 디지털 인문학 관련 국내외 학술 문헌을 수집하여 분석에 사용하였다. 이 자료들을 대상으로 구조적 토픽모델을 적용하여 세부 주제들을 살펴보았으며, 이 주제들의 시계열적 추이를 파악하였다. 분석결과, 국내외 공통적으로 인문학 기반의 융합 연구들이 수행되었으며, 주로 사료의 디지털화가 주된 연구의 관심사였다. 국내는 문화콘텐츠와 스토리텔링 관련된 연구주제가 두드러지게 나타났으며, 해외는 디지털화된 자료의 제공 측면에서 문헌정보학 관련 주제들이 주목을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 국내의 디지털 인문학 분야의 연구 공백을 파악하고 연구주제 확장이 가능한 영역들을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is investigate the research trend on digital humanities. Previous studies focused on analyzing representative cases and national policies, not overall research trends in the digital humanities field. To this problem, this study intends to identify the intellectual structure of the digital humanities by adopting bibliometric approach. In this study, 1,765 articles retrieved from Web of Science and 514 records from RISS were analyzed to investigate research trends. Structural topic models were applied to examine research topics and to grasp the time-series trend. The results show that humanities-based convergence studies and digitization were main research interests in both side. In Korea, research topics related to cultural contents and storytelling were prominent, while in terms of providing digitized data, library and information science field was one of the important research topic abroad.
